What installing it looks like
Six steps, and you’re done.
You are going to make the changes yourself, using an AI that works on your computer. We wrote every instruction it follows. It asks before it touches anything, and your website login never leaves your machine.
Most people finish in under half an hour. You do not need to know anything technical, and you can hand the whole thing to a web person if you would rather.
This is the real walkthrough, not a mock-up. Yours arrives with your own files in it. Run a free check first — you may not need it.

01
Download your Fix Pack
One folder, built from your own check. It has your corrected pages, your structured facts written where AI looks for them, and a plain-English plan of what changes and why.
What you’ll see: A file called shortlist-fix-pack-yourpractice.zip lands in your Downloads. Double-click it and it becomes a folder.

02
Get Claude, if you don’t have it
Claude is the AI that makes the changes. It runs on your computer, under your control, and it asks before it touches anything. The free plan is enough for this.
What you’ll see: Go to claude.ai, click Sign up, use your work email. Then download the Claude app for Mac or Windows and sign in with the same account.
Already have Claude? Skip to step 3.
-
03
Open your folder in Claude
Open the Claude app, go to the Code tab, and choose Open Folder. Pick the Fix Pack folder you just unzipped.
What you’ll see: Claude shows the folder’s contents down the side — README-FIRST, PRIORITY-PLAN, a content folder, and a few others. That is your pack.
-
04
Type one sentence
In the message box, type exactly this and press enter:
Execute the Fix Pack.
What you’ll see: Claude reads the instructions we wrote for it and starts working through your plan in order. It will explain each change before it makes it.
-
05
Say yes when it asks
Claude will ask permission before changing anything, and it will ask you for your website login when it needs it. You are giving that to your own computer — it never comes to us, and we could not see it if we wanted to.
What you’ll see: A prompt asking to edit a file, or to connect to your site. Read it, then approve it.
Anything that needs a third party — your Google Business Profile, a directory listing — is put in a separate list for you to do yourself. Claude will not log into those.
-
06
Check that it worked
Your pack includes a test that grades itself. Ask Claude to run it and it will tell you what passed and what still needs you.
Run the verification and show me what failed.
What you’ll see: A pass/fail list. Every item traces to something in your plan, so nothing is a matter of opinion. Anything still failing is either waiting on you or written down as unresolved.
If you get stuck
The four that come up.
I don’t have a website person and I’ve never done anything like this.
That is who this is written for. Every step above says what you should see on your screen, so you can tell whether it worked before moving on. If you get stuck, reply to your receipt and send us the screen — we will tell you which step you are on.
Can I just give this to my web person instead?
Yes, and it will take them about twenty minutes. Forward them the folder and this page. Nothing here needs you specifically.
What if Claude breaks something on my site?
It asks before every change, so nothing happens without you approving it, and the pack carries a guardrails file that tells Claude what it may not touch. The verification step checks the result. If something does go wrong, tell us and we will work out what happened from your plan — every instruction in it is written down.
Do you ever get my website password?
No. There is no step where you send it to us, and there is nowhere on our side to put it. You give it to Claude on your own computer, the same way you would type it into your own browser.
